1 shot in Englewood police-involved shooting

CHICAGO (WLS) -- One man was injured in a police-involved shooting in the 5800-block of South Morgan in the Englewood neighborhood Saturday night, police say.

The man was allegedly shot after police were received a call about a "man with a gun" and had a subsequent confrontation with the man, who they say refused to drop his weapon.

The man was shot and transported to Stroger Hospital in critical condition. Area South Detectives are investigating the incident.
