11-year-old boy missing from Aurora found safe

AURORA, Ill. (WLS) -- An 11-year-old boy reported missing from southwest suburban Aurora was located Friday, city officials said.

Heritier Rukumbuzi's family told police he left his house around 5 p.m. to go play soccer, Aurora police said on their Facebook page.

City of Aurora Media Relations Manager Dan Ferrelli said around 10:15 a.m. Friday that the boy was found safe and sound.
