CHICAGO -- KANYE ON "AMERICAL IDOL"

Back in October, we heard that Chicago-born and raised, Kanye West, dropped in on an "American Idol" audition. It was actually one of the many surprises the show has in store for its final season on the air. We've only seen a sneek peek until now. Check out Kanye's full audition.

MICHAEL BAY TAKES ON "TRANSFORMERS 5"

Director Michael Bay , who directed both of the last "Transformer" films, "Age of Extinction" and "Dark of The Moon," both with scenes shot in Chicago, has decided to helm the fifth film in the series. No word yet on what the film is about, but it's said to be a reboot of the franchise. Bay says this is his last "Transformers" film, but he's said that before. It's also not known if any of the new film will be shot in Chicago, but since his last two "Transformer" films had scenes shot here, we certainly hope Mr. Bay returns.

IRELAND HAS "STAR WARS" FEVER

According to Forbes.com, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is set to become the highest grossing film of all time today, with more than $760 million (and counting). "Star Wars" fever has caught on everywhere and Ireland is taking advantage of it. It turns out that a key scene in "The Force Awakens" (no spoilers here) was shot off the coast of Ireland on the Skellig Islands. Now Discover Ireland /) is hoping to attract tourists to see where part of the film was made. Tourism officials say they've kept the filming secret for two years, but now they are proud to be part of the "Force."
