The all-female power crew created the show and serve as the series writers, executive producers, and actors.

The Katydids were a Chicago improv group who first created "Teachers" as a web series.

The name "Katydids" was created by the group, who all happen to be named a variation of Katherine.

The sitcom "Teachers" will show the real and sometimes inappropriate conversations that happen in the teacher lounge, and detail the raw life of what it's like to be a twenty-something teacher.

You can catch "Teachers" every Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. on TV Land.
