Lois Weisberg, Chicago cultural icon, dies at 90

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Lois Weisberg, an icon in Chicago's cultural community, has died.

She was 90-years-old.

She was the Commissioner of Cultural Affairs under the Richard M. Daley administration.

Her legacy includes the Chicago Cultural Center, the Taste of Chicago and the Chicago Blues Festival.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel says she brought art and culture into the lives of every Chicagoan.
