3 injured in Niles apartment fire

NILES, Ill. (WLS) -- Three people hurt in an apartment fire in north suburban Niles on Friday.

A civilian used a cherry picker to rescue two people trapped in a laundry room. All three were treated for smoke inhalation.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
