Illinois Treasurer's unclaimed items auction begins Monday

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WLS) -- Starting Monday, the Illinois Treasurer is auctioning off thousands of unclaimed items. Items for auction include collectible coins, baseball cards, jewelry and more.

The items are being sold because after 10 years the treasurer's office hasn't been able to locate the rightful owners.
