A new study in the Journal BMJ finds that eating foods rich in flavonoids may help you fight gaining weight.

Flavonoids are natural compounds that appear in many types of produce like strawberries, grapes and onions, as well as red wine and chocolate.

The study looked at more than 124,000 people in middle age or older and found that people with diets rich in flavonoids kept their weight under control and even lost a little weight.
