CHICAGO (WLS) --Jimmy Butler has been selected as a reserve for the Eastern Conference in the 2016 NBA All-Star Game, NBA officials announced Thursday.
This marks the second consecutive season Butler has been named an All-Star.
According to ESPN, the East team reserves also include: Andre Drummond of the Detroit Pistons; DeMar DeRozan of the Toronto Raptors; Paul Millsap of the Atlanta Hawks; Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat; John Wall of the Washington Wizards; and Isaiah Thomas of the Boston Celtics.
The West team reserves include Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors; Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors; James Harden of the Houston Rockets; Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers; Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Hornets; and DeMarcus Cousins of the Sacramento Kings, according to ESPN.
Butler is currently in his fifth season with the Bulls. He leads the team in scoring, steals, field goals made, field goals attempted, free throws made, free throws attempted and minutes played.
