CHICAGO --Windy City LIVE was given an exclusive first look at Uber Puppies when some special friends came to cuddle with Ryan, Val and Ji!
Plus, Brooke Anderson from Uber stopped by to fill us in how the Uber Puppy Bowl is helping get the word out about adopting pets.
On Wednesday, February 3, 2016, Uber is teaming up with Animal Planet and the Anti-Cruelty Society to bring the Uber Puppy Bowl to seven cities throughout the U.S. The fun begins at 11 am local time and lasts until 2 pm. This is the first time #UberPUPPYBOWL will take place in Chicago! Riders will open the app to request the Puppies option and have a car full of puppies and 15 minutes of cuddle time. Added bonus - all participating puppies are available for adoption!
Uber Puppy Bowl is all about giving back to your local shelter and reminding your community that adopting is where it's at! Each delivery will be $30 for 15 minutes, which will go back to the Anti-Cruelty Society. And Animal Planet will match all donations. Participating cities include: Chicago, San Francisco, Phoenix, Los Angeles,, NYC, Washington DC and Denver.
This is the second year that we're partnered with Animal Planet in advance of Puppy Bowl XII on Sunday, Feb 7. Last year, over 70 puppies were adopted during the Uber Puppy Bowl.
