Buffalo Grove teacher accused of sending inappropriate texts to student

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. (WLS) -- A suburban teacher is accused of sending inappropriate text messages to a student.

Panagiotis Georgitsis, 40, is charged with disorderly conduct.

Police say he sent those inappropriate text messages to a 16-year-old student where he taught at Buffalo Grove High School.

He resigned last week when confronted by school officials.
