Pet Adoptions for Valentine's Day
On Sunday, February 14, 2016, the Anti-Cruelty Society and High Hopes are teaming up for a Valentine's Day Adopt-a-thon.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Love is in the air on Valentine's Day. On Sunday, February 14, 2016, the Anti-Cruelty Society and High Hopes is teaming up for a Valentine's Day Adopt-a-thon. From 12pm - 5pm at 510 N. LaSalle Street, Chicago, the Anti-Cruelty Society is waving adoption fees for cats and dogs to find as many loving homes as possible. High Hopes helps homeless pets 365 days a year by donating a portion from every sale of its products to The High Hopes for Pets Foundation - who in turn, donates to local shelter and rescue groups. To date, forty-five $500 grants have been disbursed. The Founder of High Hopes, Paula Etchison, and Colette Bradley from the Anti-Cruelty Society, joined ABC 7 to make treats for your pet, and to introduce a few furry-friends still looking for a new home.
