Hispanic Heritage Day at the Chicago Auto Show

CHICAGO (WLS) -- If you've been putting off your trip to the Chicago Auto Show - we want to remind you that this is the last weekend to check out the cars.

The sunny music blared Friday as Hispanic Heritage Day was celebrated at the 108th Annual Chicago Auto Show.

The Chicago Area Auto Dealers Association is reaching out to Latinos and Latinas who've historically given America's biggest auto show a miss.

At the Road America display, Lebanese-American race car driver Graham Rahal is on promoting a cultural twist as he focuses on his upcoming race in Elkhart Lake, Ind.

Friday is also a day to integrate school with the auto show. Some kids from Barack Obama Leadership Academy in Chicago Heights were evaluating which vehicle to buy as part of an academic role-playing exercise
