How many drivers on the road are actually intoxicated?

A new report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found there are 121 million episodes of drunk driving per year in America.

Researchers studied adults in all 50 states, and 4.2 million drivers admitted to at least one drunk driving episode in the last month.

Nearly 4,000 respondents drove drunk every single day.

The CDC is pushing for stricter blood alcohol content laws, more sobriety checkpoints and higher taxes on alcohol.
