New city of Chicago website seeks to help veterans

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The city of Chicago wants to make it easier for veterans to get access to important resources.

The city has launched a new website to help veterans get information about things such as housing, employment, and emergency services.

The city's 311 service call center is also asking callers up front if they are veterans to help improve direction of services to them.
