CHICAGO --Now going on its 26th year, the Chicago Mass Choir takes its inspiring and uplifting music from our city and neighborhoods all across the globe.
With a large international following, the choir has named itself the 'Unofficial Ambassadors' for Gospel music.
In Chicago, the choir puts an emphasis on community outreach by donating school supplies and uniforms, adopting a Kindergarten class every Thanksgiving, volunteering and performing at nursing homes, donating to homeless shelters and more.
President and CEO Dr. Feranda Williamson stopped by to tell us more, and the Chicago Mass Choir performed "Thank You, Thank You, Jesus" in our studio.
The Chicago Mass Choir has their 16th CD coming out on April 15.
They are holding their 17th Annual Spring Concert on May 7.
