CHICAGO -- The LISA App offers beauty services through an app that allows the service to come to the client at home or work - or let the client go to the service.

There are four beauty categories available: hair, nail, massage and makeup. Val used the app to order a couple massage services for her and Ryan in studio!

Want a haircut, massage, makeup, waxing or nails done whenever you want? LISA is Chicago's first mobile application that matches consumers to beauty service providers (artists) in real-time, allowing them to meet wherever and whenever is most convenient through a geo-specific locator.

It's a CHICAGO thing. Made by Chicagoans, for Chicagoans. You won't find or be able to use this app outside of Chicago.

LISA was built by artists, for artists and on the principles of freedom and flexibility. By using the LISA platform, artists can now become entrepreneurs and retain more of their earned income.

Through LISA, artists can:

-Set their own prices, rather than having the app dictate their service price

-Turn it on when they want to work, off when they don't

-Merge calendars

-Provide services at home or away

For consumers, LISA offers:

-Ability to request a hair, barbering, facial, makeup, massage or nail service

-Option to select services within their desired price range

-Choice to receive services at home, the office or somewhere else convenient

-Appointments on-demand (within one hour of the request) or for a later day or time

-Invisible payments and tipping through the app via credit card

-Ability to read Artist reviews and rate experiences
