Man charged with triple shooting in North Lawndale

CHICAGO -- A man has been charged with shooting three people Friday afternoon in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

Dwon Wright, 18, was charged with one felony count of aggravated battery/discharge firearm, according to Chicago Police.

Three men were in a gray car in the 3700 block of West Grenshaw at 3:12 p.m. Friday when Wright fired shots at the vehicle, police said.

An 18-year-old man was shot in the arm and back, a 20-year-old man was shot in the back and a 21-year-old suffered a graze wound to the head, police said. They took themselves to Mount Sinai Hospital, where they were all listed in good condition.

Wright, of the 3400 block of West Grenshaw, was scheduled to appear in bond court Sunday.
