CHICAGO (WLS) --Four boys were shot on Chicago's West Side Monday night. The youngest victim is only 12 years old.
Police said the group was standing on the corner of West Washington Boulevard and North Waller Avenue just after 8:50 p.m. when someone walked up to them and opened fire.
A 12-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy suffered gunshot wounds to the abdomen and were rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital. A 14-year-old boy shot in the stomach and a 15-year-old boy struck in the leg were taken to Stroger Hospital. Police said all of their conditions stabilized overnight.
No one is in custody.
