Small plane makes emergency landing in field near Peru, Illinois

PERU, Ill. (WLS) -- A small plane made an emergency landing in a field in LaSalle County, officials said.

The FAA said the pilot of a Beechcraft Bonanza reported an oil pressure problem Thursday afternoon before landing in a field about 1.5 miles north of the Illinois Valley Regional Airport in Peru.

The pilot was the only person on board. No injuries were reported.
