VIDEO: Police rescue man from burning apartment

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- Police officers in Chattanooga got to a man in time to save him in his smoke-filled apartment.

Body camera video shows the officers as they grab the unconscious man from a couch and pull him out of the apartment into the hallway.

The man eventually wakes up.

Both officers were treated for smoke inhalation. The man was taken the hospital.

He said later the officers clearly saved his life.

It turned out a pot left on a stove started the fire.
