Preparing food for Passover
The holiday of Passover is begins on the evening of Friday, April 22, 2016.

NORTHBROOK, Ill. (WLS) -- The holiday of Passover is begins on the evening of Friday, April 22, 2016. The event commemorates the Jewish Exodus from Egypt over 3,000 years ago. The ritual observance of this holiday centers around a special home service called the Seder (meaning "order") and a festive meal; the prohibition of chametz (leaven); and the eating of matzah (an unleavened bread). Max and Benny's Restaurant and Deli is offering a special Passover meal observance on April 22 and April 23. Jon Soble from Max and Benny's Restaurant and Deli visited ABC 7 Eyewitness News to show how to make the perfect meal for Passover.
