HOUSTON -- The tiny living movement is moving into the heart of Houston.[br /][br /]A planned 24-story building, The Ivy Lofts, is set to go up just off Leeland Street. The almost $150 million project is quickly coming to life.[br /][media ID="1287926" /][br /]Their tiniest unit, nicknamed "Tokyo," is just over 300 square feet.[br /][Ads /][br /]Jason Franklin is leading the effort to sell the complex. He recently took our own Steve Campion on a tour of the model condominiums. They're outfitted with modular furniture, including Murphy beds which turn your living room into a bedroom.[br /][media ID="1288186" /][br /]"This speaks to a lot of what the tiny house movement does on a much more grand scale," said Franklin. "This is not a product for everyone. I've jokingly said there are 5 million people in Houston. I only need 500."[br /][br /]The starting base price for a so-called "micro-condo" at the Ivy Lofts lists for almost $120,000.
