CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man and a woman were shot in front of a bar on Chicago's Far South Side.

Police said around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, someone walked over to Judi's Sports Bar and Grill in the 500-block of east 103rd Street in the city's Roseland neighborhood and opened fire. A bar employee said four people were standing outside when the shooting occurred.

A 34-year-old man was shot in the neck and a 41-year-old woman was shot in the stomach, police said. They were both rushed to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where they are each listed in critical condition.

Police searched for shell casings and set up evidence markers at the scene overnight. Investigators said the shooter's motive is unclear. No one is in custody.

The bar manager, who would not go on camera, said Judi's will be open for business Monday.
