Palos Hills girl, 12, safe after allegedly lured by man via social media

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 12-year-old Palos Hills girl was found safe in Chicago on Tuesday after she was allegedly lured by an 18-year-old man on social media.

Her parents called police on Monday when she didn't show up for school.

Detectives learned that she came in contact with an older man on social media and they tracked her down in Chicago.

Investigators said the man had two other juveniles in his custody.

He is now facing charges.
