Lansing police release photos of armed robbery suspect

LANSING, Ill. (WLS) -- Police are investigating a string of armed robberies at restaurants in and around south suburban Lansing over the past several months.

Police released surveillance photos of the suspect, who is described as a male in his late teens to early 20s, approximately 5'5" to 5'7" with a slight build.

Police said the suspect often wears hooded sweatshirts and a mask over his face. He has also been seen carrying a black backpack.
