Local author aims to break the 'cancer chain'

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Prostate Cancer is one of the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States. Despite new technology and awareness, many cases go undiagnosed, simply because some men refuse to be tested. Local author Steve Bourque lost his father to prostate cancer. In his new book Breaking the Cancer Chain, he discusses his family's struggle with cancer and ways to fight against the disease. Bourque sat down with ABC 7 news to talk about his experiences and his new book.
