ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (WLS) -- Five people are accused of stealing $838 worth of beauty products from an Ulta Beauty in suburban Arlington Heights, police said.

The theft occurred April 15 at the store in Northpoint Shopping Center, located at 456 E. Rand Rd.

The five individuals -- three women and two men, all in their mid-20s -- allegedly worked together, police said.

The offenders put the products in a tote bag, which was left at the back of store at about 6 p.m. Then, one of the individuals -- a 25-year-old man wearing a Chicago Cubs shirt -- then entered Ulta and left with the tote, police say.

These individuals also are suspected in a retail theft that same day at Ulta's Kildeer location at 20505 N. Rand Rd., police said.
