2 seriously injured in McHenry crash

McHENRY, Ill. (WLS) -- Two people were seriously hurt in a car crash Monday evening in northwest suburban McHenry.

Police say a man and a woman were trapped inside a Corvette after driving off the road and slamming into a tree along Route 120.

They were airlifted to hospitals with unspecified injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
