Waukegan police searching for armed robbers wearing Halloween masks

WAUKEGAN, Ill. (WLS) -- Police in the north suburbs are searching for two armed robbers accused of holding up people while wearing Halloween masks.

Investigators said there were two separate in Waukegan, one on Saturday, May 14 and the other on Sunday, May 15.

Police said the robbers hit their victims over the head with a gun before taking their personal property.

One of the victims was treated for facial injuries.
