Girl inhales boutonniere pin on prom night

A Massachusetts teen's most memorable moment from prom weekend was getting an x-ray of a boutonniere pin in her bronchial tubes.

Kathleen Garvey was holding the pin in her mouth as she adjusted the flowers on her date's lapel.

And that's when her date made her laugh, and she inhaled the pin.

The Wellesley High School senior continued on with the big dance.

The next morning, she got an X-ray. The pin was removed in a 45-minute surgery.
