CHICAGO (WLS) -- Early results show two Chicago homes have tested positive for high lead levels in their water.

The homes are in the 5400 block of South Harper and near 104th and Vernon.

The homes are among more than 80 tested so far by the city.

Officials say they will help identify the sources of the lead for free but it's up to the individual homeowner to pay to correct it.

More than 2,700 residents have asked for the free testing in their homes.
