Riverside police warning residents about home burglaries

RIVERSIDE (WLS) -- Police in suburban Riverside are warning residents about recent home burglaries.

The latest break-in happened Wednesday morning in the 300 block of Addison Road.

Village police say the burglar broke through the glass at a back door and stole jewelry and electronics.

Riverside police say there have also been two daytime burglaries at homes in the 300 block of Lionel Road.

Police there are increasing patrols in response to these break-ins.
