$500 Disney ABC Summer of Service grants

ABC 7 Chicago - Youth Service America (YSA), The Walt Disney Company and Disney|ABC Television Group are teaming up this summer to inspire kids and families to make a positive impact in their communities by awarding Disney Summer of Service grants. Young changemakers who have ideas or projects that can positively impact their communities could receive $500 to help bring their vision to life.

Supported by Disney Friends for Change, a global initiative that inspires kids and their families to make their communities healthier, greener and stronger, eligible youth between the ages of 5-18, sponsored by their local community organization, who are dedicated to making a difference in and around Chicago and surrounding suburban communities can apply for the grants by submitting service project ideas now through September 30, 2016.
Once grant recipients are selected, the winner's sponsoring organization will be awarded a $500 grant to assist with the implementation of the project. Select awardees may have a chance to be recognized on ABC 7 Chicago to share how they are creating a brighter tomorrow.
