CHICAGO (WLS) --Two dozen Chicago high school students are heading to China on a mission to become student ambassadors.
On Saturday, they dined on Chinese food during a sendoff party.
This is the second summer the Chicago Urban League is sending a delegation of students to China.
They will stay two weeks and to prepare, the students have been studying the language and culture.
"I've been so enclosed in learning about my own type of culture and things like that, I also want to learn about things of their culture and what they do and what they eat, just seeing it up close is a great experience," said student Vincent Hale.
One of their stops will be the famous Great Wall of China.
