Gary police searching for missing woman with mental health issues

GARY, Ind. (WLS) -- Gary Police are searching for a missing woman who has mental health issues and requires medication.

Police said Gwen Rogers, 18, has been without her medication since June 10. She was last seen wearing black capri pants, green shirt with a gold cat on it and black shoes.

Rogers is known to frequent the Glen Park area when she runs off and her diminished mental status makes her vulnerable to high risk situations, police said.

Police said Rogers has no means by which to care for herself without assistance, and she may be in need to medical care.
