Firefighters battled a four-alarm fire at a home in north suburban Antioch Tuesday morning.

Thick, white smoke was seen billowing through the roof of the house in the 24000-block of Hawthorne Lane.

Firefighters had trouble getting water to the scene. Crews from Hebron, Winthrop Harbor, Twin Lakes, Libertyville and Wauconda were called to assist.

Antioch fire officials said they are not aware of anyone in the home. No injuries were reported.
