Jon Lester, pitcher for the Chicago Cubs, is hosting an event to raise money for pediatric cancer research.

Jon Lester, pitcher for the Chicago Cubs, joins Windy City Live to talk about the first place Cubs and his upcoming event to help raise awareness and money for pediatric cancer research.

Jon is hosting an event called NVRQT Goes Country. NVRQT Goes Country will take place Wednesday, July 6, at Joe's Bar on Weed Street in Chicago. Doors open at 6 p.m. The event will benefit PCRF.

General admission tickets are $200. Ticket includes drinks and food. The night will feature live country music, country fair games, live and silent auction, great food and more! Cub's players and coaches will be posted at different country fair game stations and also will be guest bartenders.
