Aerosmith's Joe Perry is "doing well" after he collapsed at a concert on Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York, a representative said.

Sujata Murthy also said Monday that the guitarist appreciates the public's good wishes.

Perry, 65, was performing with the 'Hollywood Vampires' at the Ford Amphitheater at the Coney Island Boardwalk Sunday night. The band consists of Perry, rock legend Alice Cooper and movie star Johnny Depp.

Concertgoers said Perry collapsed about thirty seconds into the performance - around 9:30 p.m. Perry was playing guitar while sitting next to the drummer, when he got up to walk off the stage. Fans said he looked 'noticeably ill.'

When he walked backstage, concertgoers said he fell. Firefighters then rushed onto the stage to help carry Perry off. A member of the audience, who happened to be an EMT, went on stage and gave Perry CPR.

The NYPD confirmed to ABC News that Perry was listed in stable condition at Coney Island Hospital and was transferred to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital for an unspecified reason. An administrator at Coney Island Hospital confirmed Monday that Perry was undergoing tests.

Cooper tweeted, saying "our brother" Perry was stable and with family.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
