Pillow Talk: Meeting the kids

Today's question comes from Ricky in Park Forest.

She writes: "I have been dating a great guy, an attorney, for 4 1/2 months. His kids, a daughter, 12, and a son, 14, have come to stay a month with him. We still text daily, but have not been going out nearly as regularly as before... I don't want to be selfish, but after four months I believe I should at least be introduced to the children and we can do things together... I realize his children live out of state and he does not see them often, but isn't almost five months of dating and being nearly inseparable a sufficient enough time to be introduced to his children?"
