Pro golf comes to Chicago area
The LPGA Tour comes to the Chicago area July 19-14.

LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- Golf fans hoping to catch a pro golf tournament around Chicago will get their chance July 19-24, 2016 when the LPGA Tour competes at the UL International Crown. The tournament is being hosted at The Merit Club in Libertyville. The family friendly week of fun also features a Women's Summit, Junior Day, UL Fan Expo, and free admission for kids and military personnel. Fans can attend both the practice rounds and the tournament during the week.

The UL International Crown also features several charity initiatives; including the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund, LPGA-USGA Girls Golf, and Habitat for Humanity (www.habitatlc.org). Tournament Director Drew Blass joined ABC 7 to give a few putting tips before the pros come to town.
