Columbia Furniture in Ukrainian Village closing after nearly 100 years

Columbia Furniture is closing after nearly 100 years in business.

The same family has operated the store in Ukrainian Village for since 1920.

They sold the building for $2.85 million dollars, explaining that the real estate is apparently more valuable than the furniture business. A going-out-of-business sale is slated to begin Thursday.
