Metra Electric Blue Island trains running after tree cleared from tracks

Trains on the Blue Island branch of the Metra Electric line are running again in both directions after being stopped Monday morning in the West Pullman neighborhood.

After 6:30 a.m., crews cleared a tree from the tracks near 120th and State Street, allowing service to resume.
