CHICAGO (WLS) --Shots were fired near behind The Art Institute of Chicago near Grant Park Tuesday night.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 200-block of South Columbus Drive around 9:50 p.m.
Police said when they arrived, they found two vehicles with bullet holes.
"I was actually joking with my wife. I'm like, well hopefully my car didn't get hit. It got hit. Material things can always be replaced so as long as the family is happy. I haven't heard of anyone being hurt, so that's all that counts," said Hector Lopez, whose car was struck by bullets.
Investigators said no one was hurt in this shooting.
