Person hides in Joliet Target, attempts to steal items

JOLIET, Ill. (WLS) -- Joliet police are looking for a person who hid in a Target in Joliet until closing and then attempted to steal items.

On Sunday, the person entered the store near Louis Joliet Mall on Plainfield Road during business hours and hid in the stock room. However, before they could steal anything, store employees scared him away, police said.
