CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago's Pullman neighborhood is on the verge of getting a new park and recreation center.

The Park District Board is expected to approve the proposal for the 13-acre piece of land at 103rd and Woodlawn.

The new space will include an indoor sports facility with artificial turf fields, basketball courts and even batting cages.

The $20 million price tag would be paid for through state grants and money from the Chicago Housing Authority.
