The babies were born at the zoo on May 28 to their mother Anna and her mate Chet. Until Thursday, the kittens have been behind-the-scenes bonding with their mother. Zoo officials said once the kittens get used to their new surroundings, they will be able to been seen throughout the day.

The endangered fishing cats are native to parts of Asia and their diet consists of fish, crustaceans, mollusks, frogs and small mammals. The species usually grows to about 15 and 25 pounds.
