Car crashes into West Town Bakery & Diner in Ukrainian Village
The driver of this vehicle jumped the curb and crashed into the West Town Bakery & Diner.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A driver jumped the curb and crashed into the West Town Bakery early Saturday in Chicago's Ukrainian Village.

The crash occurred at about 4:30 a.m. in the 1900-block of West Chicago Avenue, said baker general manager Patrick Wingert. They bakery had to shut down their dining area but their retail counter remained open on Saturday.

The bakery's manager said the 19-year old driver also struck two of his delivery trucks.

The driver sustained injuries and was hospitalized. No other injuries were reported.
