8th Annual Auto Row Car Show

AURORA, Ill. (WLS) -- If you love classic cars, you'll want to check out the 8th Annual Auto Row Car Show (http://www.lasalle-auto-row.org/) going on in Aurora on Sunday, August 21, 2016. The block of LaSalle Street between Downer Place and Benton Street is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Friends of LaSalle Street is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and beautification of this historic area of downtown. Cars were first sold and serviced in Aurora on LaSalle Street in 1907. LaSalle Street was fondly called "LaSalle Street Auto Row".

Car enthusiasts show off their latest creations in a competition that everyone can attend from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. All profits from the car show goes directly to the American Legion in Aurora. Joe Dispensa, President of the LaSalle Street Historic Auto Row, joined ABC 7 live from Aurora to talk about the car show.
