CHICAGO -- The Children's Service Board is one of Chicago's oldest and most successful philanthropic affiliated organizations of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.

Kristina Nicolas, co-chair of the 61st Annual Gold Coast Fashion Award Show, stopped by Windy City LIVE to chat about Chicago's biggest fashion event on September 21.

Funds raised from the Gold Coast Fashion Award Show will be used to recruit a highly qualified physician-scientist to lead the Hospital's groundbreaking Molecular Oncology and Bioinformatics Program.

This year, five emerging designers who will partake in an audience-decided competition for the coveted Gold Coast Fashion Award. The competition will be followed by an exciting, high-fashion segment from Neiman Marcus, the board's long-time partner and sole retail sponsor.

To date, the Children's Service Board has raised over $15 million in support of the hospital services and programs that are critical to the quality of care.
